Former All-Black and Manukau resident Frank Bunce will be performing the ballroom dancing manoeuvres he fine-tuned during the TV show Dancing with the Stars, with his dance partner, Krystal Stuart this Friday at the Westpac Manukau Business Excellence Awards.
We wonder whether there will also be a repeat performance of the rumours regarding their relationship. According to Herald on Sunday, Butch Bunce and Miss Friendly Hands were seen visiting hotel rooms late at night and first thing in the morning after a wee bit of after hours coaching. Frank Bunce has always tried to distance himself from rumours, putting the blame on Krystal's over-friendly behaviour. Now that partner Carla Rawson has announced her pregnancy the pair are hoping gossip will finally end.
Up to 1,000 people are expected to attend the black-tie dinner and awards announcement at the TelstraClear Pacific Events Centre. Tickets are available by contacting Enterprising Manukau on 09 262 2244 or visiting www.bizawards.co.nz.

Dancing with the Stars News & Gossip 12 July 07
Frank Bunce Mum on Baby
It turns out that Frank Bunce and partner Carla Rawson have been keeping secrets! They are expecting a child in December.
Frank, 45, already has three children from two previous relationships, including sons Chance (21), and Jordan (13) and daughter Sam (16).
This will be the first child for Carla Rawson, aged 34.
Carla was clearly distressed by all the gossip surrounding Krystal and Frank. The pair is hoping this will end rumours of romance between Frank and his dancing partner Krystal ‘Miss Friendly Hands’ Stuart.
Here’s a picture of Carla Rawson, with a cast off from a drag queen’s wardrobe slung from her neck, chatting with Kelly Swanson Roe, who mistook the affair for a costume party and came disguised as an ostrich.
Also at the KidsCan Charity fundraiser Sapphire Ball was one of Bunce’s exes, Miriama Smith and Pop’s Ultimate Star judge Jordan Luck (with singer/songwriter Donald Reid). Hold your horses! Be with you in just one moment Jordan, baby.
Bernice’s Baby Fat
Netballer Bernice Mene, who graced our screens in the first series of Dancing With The Stars, chats this week to New Zealand Woman’s Weekly about getting her baby figure back after the birth of baby Solomon nearly a year ago. Apparently she struggled to get her figure back and struggled to walk around the block when she first started out. Surprising for an ex-elite athlete.
But in three weeks of walking, pilates, yada yada she turned it all around. Does anyone really care?
Hayley Holt Beauty, Brawn or Brains
Hayley Holt asks which you rate more important - Beauty, Brawn or Brains.
Is this a trick question? Surely the answer is D. none of the above. The most important attribute is your bank account, err I mean what you're like on the inside. Anyway it all sounds like a good excuse for her fans to reassure her that she's beautiful, talented, strong and clever. Yawn. Mind you if she was really smart, she'd already know that, wouldn't she?
She says:
I don't believe in being bound by traditional stereotypes or expectations ofIn response her mate from DWTS, Aaron Gilmore, says:
women. I try not to create limitations for myself when it comes to what I can
achieve in life. I have many interests and do my best to pursue them all.
This is Aaron from DWTS. Go you Girl. I think the most important thing is who you are as a person. And for all out there Hayley is a beautiful person.Awwwww. You can bid on an hour or two with Hayley Holt and other reality television celebs to raise funds for Auckland City Mission.
Lots of love to you. Aaron

Frank's Dancing Shoes Waltzing off to Auction

Frank Bunce’s dancing shoes from Dancing with the Stars – signed by Frank and dancing partner Krystal Stuart - will be up for auction on Friday.
The shoes are one of many items including limited edition All Blacks jerseys and other sporting memorabilia being auctioned at the skylight Champions Luncheon to raise money for skylight – a national support organisation that helps young people deal with tough stuff in their lives.
skylight Sponsorship Manager Annette Brook said more than 540 people were expected at this year’s event, which will honour All Blacks legend Colin 'Pinetree' Meads.
The luncheon has been an annual Wellington fixture for the past 10 years, held the day prior to a Wellington-based All Blacks test. The All Blacks play France at Wellington’s Westpac Stadium on Saturday.
Ms Brook said tickets to the event regularly sold out a year in advance, and attracted some of New Zealand’s sporting elite. Among those attending this year are Sir Brian Lochore, Ian Kirkpatrick, Waka Nathan, Grant Fox, Alama Ieremia and Fergie McCormick.
Last year the auction raised more than $80,000 for skylight.

Frank and Krystal caught on camera
The Sunday papers are full of news that Frank Bunce and Krystal Stuart are engaged in a hot and passionate affair. Frank continues to maintain that he is happily partnered with Carla Rawson and blames Krystal aka Miss Friendly Hands, for what he describes as misleading pictures. This is certainly a different image to their last dance of the night when they steamed up the dance floor for their Rhumba then left the stage without holding hands or showing any signs of intimacy.
"It looks worse than it is," Frank told Sunday News.
The photos were taken early Wednesday morning after the pair partied the night away on Tuesday after the Dancing with the Stars final. If you look closely at the image Frank has his hands in his pockets.

Best and Worst of Dancing with The Stars NZ

Drum roll please. Here are our awards for this season’s Dancing With The Stars best and worst moments
Sizzle award
New Zealand’s sexiest woman, Hayley Holt, for that Rhumba.
Best judge’s quote
Craig Revel-Horwood: It’s enough to turn a gay man straight
(about Hayley Holt wrapping herself around Brendon Pongia during their Rhumba)
Cheek(s) award
Michael Laws for looking unaccountably hot wiggling his butt during the Jive
Best mascara award
- Runner up: Frank it’s not macho to wear makeup Bunce
- Winner: Michael Laws. What were the make-up gals thinking?
Best Tango
Brendan Cole and Craig Revel-Horwood sniping at each other throughout the competition
The Rodney Hide memorial ‘you call that dancing’ award
- Runner up: Paul Holmes’ Thriller Paso Doble
- Winner: Suzanne Paul’s freestyle dance. Since when does spending half the dance being twirled by your partner followed by manic running around the floor qualify as dancing?
Stefano Olivieri carried Suzanne for most of her final dance. If I had known you could score `10s' for looking decorous rather than dancing, I would have piggy-backed my partner Lauren for the entire 90 seconds. It may have launched a thousand fetish fantasies but, gee, it might have worked.
Best costume award
This was a toughy. So many gorgeous costumes but in the end the Paso Doble won it.
- 3rd place: Krystal Stuart’s gorgeous Paso Doble dress
- 2nd place: Greer Robson and Aaron Gilmore punk rock Paso Doble
- 1st place: Suzanne Paul and Stefano Olivieri for their PVC Paso Doble
Tackiest costume
- Runner up: Megan Alatini’s fruity bikini in the Samba
- Winner: April Ieremia’s “naff” High School musical costume
Best necklace
Where to begin? Joint first equal Carol-Ann Hickmore and Krystal Stuart
Taking one for the team award
- Special Merit award: Rebecca Nicholson for dancing with both Tim Shadbolt and Paul Holmes
- Runner up: Michael Laws for dancing with a broken toe. Well he moaned about that a bit, so really the award is for being savvy enough to auction off the funny metal thing he stubbed his toe on and earn an extra $800 for his charity.
- Winner: Krystal Stuart for dancing the Paso Doble with a broken toe and never uttering a word about the injury. Also ongoing bravery for dancing with Rodney Hide and taking the blame for the famous spear tackle fall.

Courage under fire:
Michael Laws for consistently smiling while being systematically taken apart by judge Craig Revel-Horwood
Charity we heard the most about:
The Suzanne Paul help me resurrect my career charity

The ego has landed award:
- Runner up: Paul Holmes for thinking his Paso Doble was good
- Winner: Megan Alatini for failure to accept constructive criticism from the judges without backchat
Most improved award
Jonny Williams – yes I know this is about the celebs but that boy can move and compared to last year he has improved in leaps and bounds.
Best dancer
Stefano Olivieri. How could you fail to win with that set of legs swivelling beside you? Expert, elegant and expressive Stefano Olivieri is one of the best dancers I have had the pleasure of watching. And who couldn’t love that gorgeous big smile?
WTF moment
- Special Merit Award: Megan Alatini for telling the woman’s magazine how she has a ‘secret’ crush on dance partner the week after sharing her passionate bedroom secrets with another woman’s magazine the previous week
- Runner up: Megan Alatini for telling partner Jonny Williams she couldn’t afford to pay him for ongoing dancing lessons. Say what? Didn’t she just get paid to do DWTS? Isn’t her husband on a lucrative playing contract in Japan? She’s not exactly destitute.
- Winner: Suzanne Paul for telling Brendan Cole to “get over himself” and “go have a word for himself” because he dared to do his job and judge her.
Best pins
- Runner up: Suzanne Paul
- Winner: Candy Lane
Best clanger
Candy Lane for continually muffing her scripted comedy. But we have to give credit (a) to Candy Lane for improving from season 1 and (b) to the script writers for reducing all that scripted nonsense
Smut award
Can only go to the ditzy Alison Leonard who has never heard a word she can’t imbue with some sexual meaning including telling Brendon Pongia women used to dial him for a good time, now they can dial him for good timing
The Forever Friends award for flirtation
- Brendon Pongia and Hayley Holt
- Greer Robson and Aaron Gilmore
- Frank Bunce and Krystal Stuart
- Megan Alatini and Jonny Williams
Dirty Dancing award
Brendan Cole and … anyone! But hey, who wouldn’t line up to dance with a man who can dance like that?

Holmes confirms horizontal tango
In his Herald on Sunday column, Paul Holmes commented on the public’s constant speculation about couples taking their dance floor magic into the bedroom.
There is no doubt some who have taken part have found themselves engaged horizontally with their dance partners, such is the power of what Candy Lane, with her ruthless exacting wit, calls ‘the dancing fanny’However spoilsport that he is he refuses to name names, which leaves Miss Prozac with the task of analysing each of the couples. Oh how she hates to gossip. We have also heard rumours that some of the judges, namely Bad Boy Brendan Cole, have been engaging in a bit of extra dance tuition. There is also gossip that two of the professional dancers are exchanging bodily fluids.
Brendan Cole
We reported earlier that Brendan Cole has been seen dirty dancing with April Ieremia. Of course, that’s hardly news. Brendan has been seen dancing with nearly all the celebrity gals in the show as well as those from Shortland Street, and various celebrity functions.
Verdict
There have been no recent sightings of this pairing so we’re guessing that little romance has bitten the dust.
April Ieremia and Csaba Szirmai
Csaba Szirmai has said that he has a girlfriend but he has also been seen giving April some “extra tuition”. Meanwhile April has been telling all the woman’s gossip magazines that she’s blissfully happy as a single gal. Hmmm maybe she just likes one night stands.
Verdict
Give that gal a few drinks and she’s anyones. We think it would be quicker to ask who April hasn’t slept with.
Paul Holmes and Rebecca Nicholson
No no no no no. This would be just plain wrong. Besides, we’re not sure that The Gnome is up to the job. Between his prostate cancer and osteoarthritis he’d need several blue pills (Viagra for the unenlightened) to keep up with the young and energetic dance partner. If his stilted and wooden performance on the dance floor is anything to go by this would be a very uninspiring way to spend an evening. The lovely and patient Rebecca is dating hunky Blair Strang who was ambulance officer Rangi in Shortland Street. The Gnome is married to
Verdict
Why would Rebecca Nicholson slip between The Gnome’s sheets when she has Blair Strang waiting for her at home. ‘Nuff said.
Michael Laws and Lauren de Boeck
Leggy Lauren de Boeck has shown that she is more than a match for Mayor Michael’s stubborn ways, keeping him on task with dancing, if not in time. We have heard no rumours of any hanky panky with this pairing.
Verdict
After a few hours with Mayor Michael we think Lauren de Boeck is far more likely to be found burying her snout in a bottle of gin than engaging in any horizontal tango.
Megan Alatini and Jonny Williams
Megan is married with three children and the much younger Jonny has a girlfriend. Not that this has ever stopped anyone in the past. No rumours have surfaced about this pairing although hubby Pita was initially apprehensive about the steamy body coupling on the dance floor. And no wonder, rumours were flying that Jonny broke up with his girlfriend during DWTS.
Verdict
Rumours are HOT where this couple are concerned.
Frank Bunce and Krystal Stuart
There have been persistent rumours and gossip about these two, to the point that some newspapers speculated there would be an official announcement that they are a couple. Both Frank and Krystal have publicly denied any romantic involvement. Frank insists he’s happily partnered to Carla Rawson and Krystal Stuart says the slutty dancing is an attempt to win votes. She even went so far as to tell Herald on Sunday that Frank is old enough to be her father! Instead she says they will be friends forever.
Verdict
Friends forever is code for we did it but now we’ve been caught so we had to call it off. Of course they did it!
Greer Robson and Aaron Gilmore
Yet another couple that have promised to be friends forever. In the last show Aaron was seen kissing Greer on the end and showing extreme affection. Both are married. Greer has two children and plans to add a third to the brood. Let’s hope he has husband Scott’s features.
Verdict
Friends forever… Of course they did it!
Suzanne Paul and Stefano Olivieri
The matching star tattoos is suggestive (of idiocy and masochism) but Stefano Olivieri has told GayNZ that he is looking for a man.
Verdict
We think this an unlikely horizontal coupling
Brendon Pongia and Hayley Holt
The two bodies of the competition. How could they resist each other? Both have made public denials of any romance and as they are both single there is no reason for them to be coy. However we have already seen that Hayley Holt is good at keeping secrets. Treasure Island the Pirates of the Pacific was filmed many months ago and Hayley managed to keep mum about her winnings prompting partner Brendon Pongia to say that he didn’t find out she’d won until the show aired.
Verdict
Hayley Holt could keep secrets from the KGB. Anything is possible and let’s just say we wouldn’t be surprised if there is something extra going on.

DWTS expects to raise even more money in 2007

According to TVNZ, the series three 'Dancing With The Stars' two-hour finale extravaganza will be bigger and better than ever before. All eight couples will be back on the dance floor for the very last time, dancing their favourite dances.
Frank and Krystal will be performing their sexy rumba that got the whole nation talking, and Paul Holmes will don his red jacket and sparkly glove and cut up the dance floor like no-one else can.
Producer Deb Kelleher says the encore broadcast on Saturday nights has driven a second wave of voting each week. She hopes this series will see a significant increase in the money raised for the stars' chosen charities. The sums will be announced approximately 90 days after the series finishes, when all the counting and verifications have been done. Last year Lorraine Downes raised $111,961.00 for her charity, the Child Cancer Foundation, with a total amount of $333,655.00 raised by all eight celebrities for their charities.
Unfortunately that is only a fraction of the money spent on voting.

Aja Rock Makes a Boob of Herself

Aja Rock, who was most recently seen on our screens in Treasure Island, The Pirates of The Pacific, tells the Woman's Day about her new boyfriend, Tommy Lee. Now there's a chap that's dated a lot of blondes.
The controversial bankrupt blonde mum and failed pop star, who was convicted of prostitution in 2000, stars in Woman's Day alongside her new boyfriend - heavily tattooed Supernova drummer Tommy Lee.
If ever there was a match made in heaven, this is it.
The pair are pictured at the Coachella music festival in Palm Springs, sharing beers, cigarettes and a messy kebab. "Aja had a boob hanging out of her top and didn't even look like she noticed," an onlooker tells WD.
Probably because there's something very wrong going on in Silicon Valley.
Read more gossip from the woman's mags including another denial (yawn) from dancing star Krystal Stuart. New Idea have an enticing headline, "Why I love Frank", but the magazine says they're just good friends. She says she's a professional who has made a lasting friendship with ex All Black, Frank Bunce.Related posts

Frank Bunce responds to your questions
TVNZ have published the responses that Frank Bunce has given to questions posed via their website. Given that none of the Q&A refer to his alleged relationship with Krystal Stuart or any other questions of a personal nature I can only assume they have been heavily edited. The one interesting comment is that he says dancers don't get much say in their costumes. I wonder how true that is given that some of the dancers consistently wear more revealing and sexy costumes than others? Your input is welcome!!!
Will you miss dancing?
Frank: Im not going to give it up completely, at least I know Im able get around the dance floor when the occasion arises. I have also really enjoyed the training side of it, learning new dances has been great although having more time to do it will be nice!
Thanks for representing Kiwi blokes bro good job. Back to Rugby, who was the biggest guy you tackled as an AB?
Frank: I think the biggest guy I tackled was Bill Cavubati when North Harbour played Wellington, it wasnt nice. Jonah was up there too but as an All Black it would have been in Sth Africa where there are a lot of very big men.
You've got great arms, but whats with the mesh?
Frank: Yes, I thought that when I first saw the costume too! We don't get too much say in the costumes though but I think the wardrobe people do a wonderful job overall.
How has professional rugby influenced your life, and what did you take from it to DWTS?
Frank: Rugby has always been a huge influence in my life, from personal development, to people, to opportunity and everything in between. I think in dancing I used a lot of the mental skills Id gained over the years to enable me to get through long and difficult hours spent learning something totally foreign.
Are your rugby mates supportive of your DWTS efforts?
Frank: In general yes, the messages changed somewhat over the course of time from the initial laughter to being very supportive and encouraging.
Will you continue to work for your charity? Sounds like a great cause.
Frank: Yes I will certainly, Ive been with them for a couple of years now and will continue on as it is something I really enjoy but also need to do.
Join in the fun
If you would like to ask your own questions, each week you have the opportunity to send in questions and comments to the eliminated star and their dance partner.
TVNZ will publish a selection of their answers! (notice a "selection")
Simply send them an email: dancing@tvnz.co.nz and write your name, and where you're from, and your comments or questions.

Frank Bunce & Krystal Stuart Gossip: It Takes Two to Tango

The Frank Bunce-Krystal Stuart gossip refuses to die despite copious denials from both parties.
Butch Bunce claims that he is happily partnered with Carla Rawson, while Krystal Stuart aka Miss Friendly Hands insists that TVNZ told them to sex up their performance. She told The Herald on Sunday that TVNZ said they looked like the Ice King and Queen in their round 1 waltz and needed to add some sleeze ummm sex appeal to win the voters’ hearts.
However, on the same day the Sunday Star-Times reports that Krystal Stuart gave Frank Bunce an “intense and passionate kiss on the mouth” at the after-party after they were dumped from the show.
Sunday News also reported on the after-party which apparently included Paul Holmes, Rebecca Nicholson, Candy Lane, party animal Brendan Cole and Season 1 Dancing with the Stars contestant Tim Shadbolt:
they put their disappointment behind them to join the after-party at a swanky Wellington bar The Establishment until the early hours of Wednesday morning.
"They seemed happy enough and not too upset about what happened on the show," said our spy.
"They stayed until just before 5am, but then left everyone else to it and grabbed a cab."
The Manawatu Standard also reported that Bunce and Stuart continue to be friendly despite an apparent cooling in their body language in their final appearance on the show.
Shock Dancing with the Stars outcasts rugby great Frank Bunce and dancing partner Krystal Stuart swung by Palmerston North's Guv'nors Tavern last night...
The pair insist they're just good friends. It seems to Miss Prozac that this is a case of "friends with benefits". Naughty Bunce - you're old enough to be her father!
Meanwhile Frank Bunce is slipping off his dancing shoes and exchanging them for boxing gloves with plans to fight in the British version of Fight For Life.

Frank Bunce handling Krystal Stuart
Hmmmm, I used to call Krystal Stuart Miss Friendly Hands, but now I'm rethinking that.
Does anyone else see what I see? Okay, on closer inspection, nothing's going on but I had to look twice. And then, Butch Bunce goes and tosses poor Miss Friendly Hands on the floor. I'm feeling sorry for the gal. First Rodney Spear Tackle Hide, and now this.
P.S. You can email Frank Bunce and Krystal Stuart with all your questions via TVNZ. Don't forget to ask him to stop by here with all the goss...

Dancing With The Stars Boots Butch Bunce
Tonight the couples will be dancing the foxtrot and the paso doble. The foxtrot is one of the most difficult ballroom dances with a slower tempo and control needed. Candy Lane’s foxtrot tip is swing and walk light. It means a power step and then you drift.
The paso doble is the dance of the bullfight and the cape and is also the dance featured in Australian classic Strictly Ballroom starring Paul Mercurio.
Frank Bunce & Krystal Stuart
First on the floor were Frank Bunce and Krystal Stuart dancing the paso doble to the theme from The Phantom of the Opera. unfortunately they had an early fumble which was difficult to recover from.
On the plus side - Gorgeous music! Butch Bunce came onto the dancefloor in his black cape before throwing it away and dancing with Krystal who looked elegant tonight. Thank goodness the makeup department didn’t make her look 10 years older and tarty like last week. Ooooooh nice necklace and outfit Krystal Stuart. Hmmm lovely.
Lovely choreography and music from Krystal Stuart. Unfortunately Butch Bunce was too stiff and lacked the drama and flow necessary for the dance but it was an entertaining start to the evening. Frank apologised to Krystal Stuart for his errors and says he knows they can do better.
Judging
- Brendan Cole was disappointed that Frank didn’t stamp his authority on the dance.
- Carol Ann was also disappointed but said they recovered from the mishap.
- Craig Revel-Horwood said he didn’t use the cape at all, heavy ball changes, and limp arms between movements.
- Alison complimented the choreography but agreed the dance was lacking.
Scores: 3, 4, 3, 6 = 16
Megan Alatini and Jonny Williams
This week Megan Alatini and Jonny Williams are the first couple to foxtrot dancing to Frank Sinatra’s Come Fly With Me. There were a few missed heel leads but it was a pretty good effort although to quote Craig, Miss Prozac was bored. The routine lacked oomph for me although the judges seemed to like it.
Judges:
- Alison – said it wasn’t bad, just a couple of little things. On her backwards movements needs to see toe releasing, your right arm is too straight and needs to be relaxed.
- Craig – thought it was absolutely beautiful routine, brilliant choreography and movement
- Carol Ann - Very good effort, but need to do heel leads, you did a splendid job of a romantic slow dance
- Brendan Cole - Did a lovely job, and it was a lovely foxtrot. For future weeks remember to work on posture and topline.
Greer Robson & Aaron Gilmore
This week Greer Robson and Aaron Gilmore are dancing the paso doble. Greer Robson is hoping the judges enjoy this routine more than the Tango. Dancing to ‘It’s My Life’ Aaron Gilmore wore a punk rocker outfit and they started with a sort of heavy metal punk version of the paso doble. There was a lot more fire in this routine and it was much better than last week’s dance and Greer got into the character of the dance with her facial expressions and attitude.
Greer Robson thanked their partners for all their help with the childcare. Aaron Gilmore called her his ‘pocket rocket’. Hmmm Miss Prozac raises her eyebrows and wonders if this couple is doing the horizontal tango.
Judges
- Craig – that was more like it, it was very dynamic, you have a fantastically flexible back, but you should lower your shoulders and work on your spotting (while turning)
- Brendan Cole – fan-bloody-tastic you had my attention from the entire time you were on the stage and that’s what the paso is about
- Alison – said nice showcasing of your girl
- Carol Ann – said the characterisation was fantastic and that she thinks she needs to give her a bollocking every week to motivate her
Brendon Pongia & Hayley Holt
The foxtrot will be a challenge for Brendon Pongia as the footwork and grace are important. The foxtrot is Hayley Holt’s favourite dance. Look out for something good from the two bodies of the contest dancing to ‘I’ve Got You Under My Skin’.
I had to laugh. Even I could see his pigeon toes but I could see he was trying hard to keep his learner plate feet under control. It was an elegant routine and Brendon the Body showed a lot of versatility with this dance.
Brendon Pongia said he felt the dance and enjoyed his ballroom stint.
Judges:
- Carol Ann said he had picked it up really well but he needs to work on his posture and keeping the shoulders down. A great performance
- Alison said Brendon Pongia was the one guy that had the understanding of the basic foxtrot, you missed a couple of heel leads but did some nice lines which made up for it.
- Brendan would have liked to see more drive across the floor. It’s a hard dance, they’re a picture out there and they did a great job with a difficult dance
- Craig - A beautiful couple to watch and the timing was mastered. The pigeon toes are slowly disappearing but you need to bring your feet together during changes.
Paul Holmes & Rebecca Nicholson
As previously mentioned Paul Holmes is dancing the paso doble with Rebecca Nicholson to Michael Jackson’s hit Thriller. Tim Shadbolt tells him he can assume his Southern Mantle – please noooooooooooo.
He came onto the dance floor complete with white glove and the usual sticky fingers and stiff face. Oh my gawd that was ridiculously stiff. Please people vote him out. He looked ridiculous puffing out his chest and boogying. That didn’t look like any paso I’d recognise. Paul Holmes said he turned 57 years of age last Sunday and did his best to prolong his time on stage with a lot of chatter with the judges.
Judges:
- Brendan Cole Said he didn’t see any paso but it was entertainment value plus
- Alison – like an ouch sharp pain but fascinated with the peculiar feeling it leaves you. Didn’t see much paso movement except for the march.
- Craig appallingly fabulous! Highly amusing. Absolutely littered with crowd pleasing steps. Nothing more remarkable to say. Paul Holmes offered himself and his jacket for Craig’s next Westend show
- Carol Ann said in three years of the show she’s never seen a more entertaining dance. Hmmm Miss Prozac thought it was just silly. Oh well, each to her own.
Suzanne Paul & Stefano Olivieri
This week Suzanne Paul is foxtrotting with gorgeous smiley Stefano Olivieri. There was a bit of “why me” from Suzanne Paul during the pre-dance interview which didn’t impress Miss Prozac. Suzanne Paul said she struggled to learn the slower dance and that Stefano Olivieri says she has only two speeds fast and faster.
As usual the choreography was superb, to the music ‘For Once in My Life’ but a closer hold was needed and it wasn’t as enjoyable as the elegant Brendon Pongia and Hayley Holt.
Judges:
- Craig it was wicked, lovely heel turns, and there’s no stopping you. Fantastic. Spotting needed on the turns,
- Carol Ann would like to see more romance for ballroom and more body contact
- Alison – there are 5 points of contact in the ballroom hold. Stefano Olivieri said it is challenging with the height difference but he will take it on board for future weeks
- Brendan – said the close contact wasn’t there and it wasn’t a true foxtrot
