Supernanny Jo Frost reckons she can help Britney Spears be a more confident parent.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight Supernanny says

I do believe she loves her children very much and I'd be more than happy to help her, to be able to put her on the right track and feel more empowered as a parent.

Importance in motherhood is about really relating to other mothers, being able to have support groups and it's about Britney being in a place where she's feeling secure and confident in herself, so that she is able to take care of her little ones and give them what they need from her, which is their mother around.

Wouldn’t hurt if she stayed sober, too.

Lionman Cleared After Lion Bite

Zion Wildlife Gardens was cleared after a volunteer had her hand and thumb mauled by a lion. Zion Wildlife Gardens is the park featured on popular television show Lion Man.

However, the Department of Labour warned Lion Man Craig Busch that he breached the Health and Safety in Employment Act by failing to notify the authorities of the workplace injury.

A volunteer worker was "seriously injured" when her hand was bitten by a young lion when she was guiding a group of visitors at Zion Wildlife Gardens on April 23. She was treated for the injury at Whangarei Hospital.

The lion cub had bitten the woman through a hole in the fence designed for television cameras to film through for the popular Lionman TV series.

A subsequent Department of Labour investigation placed most of the blame for the incident on the worker. [source]

Kate & Gin The Dancing Dog

Kate Nicholas and her dancing border collie, Gin, are taking Britain's Got Talent by storm. Here they are in the semi-finals performing Scissor Sisters I Don't Feel Like Dancing!



During the heats the judges were so impressed they suggested Gin could be the competition's first canine winner.

We'll be getting our own version of the contest that launched Paul Potts' career. You can win $100,000 on New Zealand’s Got Talent. The competition is open to individuals and groups. Talent Manager Tracey Wheeler says,

New Zealand’s Got Talent promises to be a treasure trove of weird, wonderful and wacky acts.

Applications are open until Friday 6th June, and the show will screen on Prime TV later this year.

Simon Doull Sells for $154

Radio DJ and ex Black Cap pimped himself out on Trade Me for spending money, later deciding to donate the proceeds to charity Child Cancer Foundation.

However it seems bidders weren’t feeling very charitable. The top bid of $154 went to Nikki in Hamilton. She’ll also have to cough up for meals and transportation costs. Wonder if she’ll shout Simon’s bus fare to Hamilton?

Stefano Olivieri for Strictly Come Dancing?

Dancing with the Stars 2007 & 2008 winning professional Stefano Olivieri has said that he is

weighing up jobs on television dance shows in London and Australia - proof that there is a career to be found among the "charm, charisma, and manners" of dancing.

Sounds like he could be in contention for UK’s version of DWTS, Strictly Come Dancing.

Stefano has previously said he plans to stay in New Zealand so watch this space.

Snowboarder Hayley Holt has also put her name forward for Strictly Come Dancing.

Temepera George Wins Celeb Joker Poker

Temepara George capped off a winning run in reality television taking out the fourth series of Celebrity Joker Poker.

She won $10,000 for her charity Kids First.

Intrepid Journeys Jenny Shipley in Namibia

Ex Prime Minister Jenny Shipley has travelled the world but never in an intrepid fashion - until her Intrepid Journey to Namibia.

Having retired from politics to live a quieter life, Shipley let her heart rather than her head make the call on whether to take up the travel challenge. "I did ask myself, 'What on earth am I doing allowing cameras back into my world?'" But she decided that it was just too good an opportunity to miss.

Since leaving political life, Shipley has made her physical fitness a priority and this Intrepid Journey, offered a sand dune hike to test even the most devoted gym bunny. The dune climb was hard graft but Shipley says the time at the gym paid off. "There have been times in my history when I couldn't have done this. It was my Everest," she reveals.

As a keen photographer, Namibia offered many once-in a-life-time snapping opportunities. Trying to capture a favourite animal in the wild was a huge part of the attraction of this trip for Shipley and her trophy shot was hard fought and won. "I had a day-long truck journey into the wild part of Namibia, the Etosha National Park," says Shipley. "At twenty per cent of the size of the North Island, Etosha is big, but not too big for me to find the herd of elephants I'd been longing to photograph."

Intrepid Journeys airs Tuesday, 9.30pm on TV One.

Paris Hilton's Search for BFF

Who knew so many people wanted to be Paris Hilton's BFF?

The new MTV reality show I Wanna Be Paris’ New Best Friend attracted more than 85,000 applications from reality television wannabes looking to join Paris at all the hottest parties.

Paris Hilton recently started filming for the show. She says she has a short list of six BFFs, from a starting line up of 18 contestants.

Hey everyone! I am so excited, we have finally started taping my new show for MTV. I just want to thank you all for sending in your videos and applications. The response was massive and incredible, we had more applicants then any show in history, so that felt really nice that so many people wanted to be apart of it. I met all the contestants on wednesday night. I had them all meet me at the club Les Deux. I was a little nervous at first cause I always get shy meeting new people. But everyone ended up being very sweet, cool and fun to be around. I'm really happy with the final contestants, although it was really hard to pick only 18 people from so many great choices. Today I had the team from Fred Seagal Beauty come do makeovers on these girls and boys and the results were astonishing. They all looked stunning and beautiful and hot! So much fun! I love doing make overs on my friends .I have to do an elimination tomorrow, meaning telling one of the contestants that they have to leave. I am having anxiety and really dreading those moments of all the eliminations. But it's going to be a lot of fun and a these people will get to have a fun experience and I'm happy cause I feel like I've made friends with some of these people already.

Craig Revel Horwood Prostitute & Drag Queen

Dancing with the Stars and Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel-Horwood reveals in his forthcoming autobiography All Balls and Glitter that he worked as a prostitute and drag queen in his teens.

The judge, who prides himself on his honesty, is set to reveal all the backstage goss on his Strictly Come Dancing co-judges, dancers and celebs as well as talking candidly about his life as a “rent boy” for a 43 year old male celebrity when he was only 17 years of age.

He became a gay hooker when he was just SEVENTEEN and living in a small town in Australia.

His main customer was a famous Aussie TV personality, who was then 43.

The following year Craig found another way to make money—as a raunchy drag queen called LAVISH.

He would don a BLONDE WIG, FULL MAKE-UP, FISHNET STOCKINGS and ELBOW-LENGTH GLOVES to perform at gay bars and clubs around the country.

Britney Spears Pregnant to K-Fed with Baby #3

Britney Spears refuses to publicly confirm her pregnancy but according to NW Magazine it's official.

This isn't the first time NW Magazine has purported to have the inside scoop on Brit's pregnancy. Last year the mag claimed to have the "official" news that Brit was preggers and didn't know who the daddy was.

Showing off a newly rounded tummy and a knowing smile, singer Britney Spears dropped a bombshell on ex-hubby Kevin Federline, calling him to announce she was pregnant — with his baby!

Although it's only been a few months since Brit and her former hubby secretly reconciled, the singer shocked the wannabe rapper when she excitedly confessed she's expecting a sibling for their sons Sean, two, and Jayden, 20 months.

"Brit's desperate for a baby girl and she always wanted Kevin to be the daddy," says a friend. "She wants her daughter to have the same father as her sons and for them all to be one happy family."

Brit was seen seen kissing her ex in March 2008, and K-Fed has been at her mansion for overnight stays, so anything's possible.

Is baby #3 on the way? NW seems certain it is, despite pictures of her smoking like a chimney. In photos at a recent party with whacko Jackson (who knew he was still invited to parties?) Brit looked svelte.

Other reports suggest she's just enjoying too much of her father's home cooking. With fertile Brit you can never tell.

Gordon Ramsay Eats Chef's Thumb

Say it isn't so. Yesterday we reported that a contestant cut off the top of his finger during an episode of Hell's Kitchen.

The video shows Gordon calling for a medic to look after the chef. Now The Sun is reporting that Gordon carried on with the show, and then ate the thumb tip!

US cook Matt, 35, accidentally cut off his digit’s tip while preparing pancetta to stuff a quail.

But as he ran from the kitchen, his unknowing show teammates took over and fried it with the meat.

When Gordon, 41, realised, he said: “Oh God – finger pancetta.” But he didn’t stop the challenge and sampled the dish, saying: “It tastes weird.”

Presumably Gordon gave the dish a big thumbs down.

Lovebirds Hayley & Richie to Shack Up

Dancer and pro snowboarder Hayley Holt is moving into boyfriend Richie McCaw’s Christchurch pad.

The lovebirds have been dating since June 2007, when their agents arranged for them to see the premiere of movie Ocean’s 13.

Top Model CariDee English Hospitalised for Dehydration

America's Next Top Model Cycle 7 winner CariDee English was recently hospitalised for dehydration

A source says English was taken by ambulance last weekend from the MGM Grand at Foxwoods in Connecticut, where she was attending a party at Shrine, a new restaurant/club.

CariDee has now recovered and is back at work.

Simon Doull v The Money Man

This week TV3’s Money Man Brendon Johnson called into The Rock radio station to sort out overspender . Doully has appeared in Treasure Island: Couples at War (with ex partner Peggy Bourne) and Celebrity Joker Poker.

The Money Man hammered Doull for his extravagance, and for spending up large on beauty products and pampering. Seems image drives overspending



Ex Marine forces Doully to do a few press ups for his sins and limits him to spending $10 a day. Doully figured he could outwit the Money Man and gambled the $50 making back $500, but he has new golf clubs arriving at a cost of $700.

If he breaks his budget, the Money Man is going to make Doully have a colonic irrigation. Ouch!

His solution? Doully decides to pimp himself out. He set up a new account on Trade Me called 10dollardoully and set out to sell a date with him, plus some of his CDs – which he modestly says are signed by ex Black Cap and current radio star Simon Doull. The autographed Foo Fighters CD sold for $51.

Bidding for a date with Doully closes on Monday 26th at 5:15am. The current top bid is $151 with proceeds to be donated to Child Cancer Foundation, although Doully will still be getting a free meal out of it.
