Stars in Their Eyes Caroline Lekstrom

Stars in Their Eyes finalist Caroline Lekstrom aka Shakira has been hired by Tornado Management, a company specialising in impersonators. Elvis impersonator Brendon Chase, who won the third episode of Stars in Their Eyes is already on their books, and Debbie Harry impersonator Lili Latham is busy increasing her repertoire so she can be added to their list of performers.

Caroline has a long history of entering talent contests. Caroline Lekstrom started her singing career as a 15 year old, participating in the Swedish version of Stars In Their Eyes as Swedish singer Emilia with the song Big, Big World.

She won a place in the final and took out 5th place, and then went on to work as an Emilia impersonator, as well as doing shows, musicals and various singing contests. She also auditioned for reality show Fame Factory while in Sweden.

After moving to New Zealand in 2005 she continued her singing, and competed in karaoke contest Homai Te Pakipaki, game show Singing Bee and most recently Stars in Their Eyes.
