Are they or aren’t they a couple? This week’s women’s mags can’t decide. The NZ Woman’s Weekly has Kate issuing her standard denial followed up with the old “just friends” line, but Woman’s Day has revealing shots of Kate’s beamer leaving Mike’s place on Saturday at 7am after their regular Friday night date.
When Kate Hawkesby and Mike Hosking stepped out together at the radio awards and no-commented their way through questions about their relationship, it appeared they were going public with their romance. The Sunday papers reported the pair were seen holding hands under the table, but Kate ridiculed these rumours telling Woman’s Day, “That reporter should take a lie detector test.”
Likening the couple’s outing to Prince Charles’ first public date with Camilla, a friend told WD that Mike and Kate stay in every Friday night, cook a meal and watch DVDs. Fancy being likened to a couple that broke their marriage vowels, and got caught on tape with Charles describing how he’d like to be Camilla’s tampon. Is the friend trying to tell us something?
They adore being with each other. Often they’ll stay overnight at whoever’s house they’re in.
Sounds like Kate should be the one taking the lie detector test…

Cute. Rather than go to bars on Friday night or out for dinner they stay home and watch DVD's.
I'd watch DVD's with Mike on a Friday night as well.
